'Forged in the Becoming' One-of-a-Kind Sterling Silver Pendant

Forged in the Becoming

Some pieces are carefully planned.
Others are discovered in the fire.

This pendant is part of my evolving Silver Expression series — pieces born through heat, instinct, movement, and surrender to the creative process itself. The organic forms in this design were shaped through molten silver and controlled chaos, allowing the metal to flow into textures and forms that could never truly be duplicated twice.

As I worked on this piece, it began to feel like figures reaching toward one another through the storm… connected, supporting, becoming stronger through what they endure together. Not perfectly polished. Not rigid. Real.

I accented the pendant with deep garnet gemstone dangles, adding movement and rich grounding energy beneath the silver. Garnet has long been associated with strength, passion, protection, and life force energy — a stone believed to inspire perseverance during difficult seasons while helping reignite inner fire.

The pendant hangs from a 24" adjustable silver chain and measures approximately 2½" long by 1" wide from the top to the bottom of the dangle. Every mark, texture, and flow within the silver was created by hand in my Appalachian studio.

This is not mass-produced jewelry.
It is wearable art shaped by flame, intuition, and emotion.
