There are places in the mountains where the world seems to pause.

The air feels different. The horizon stretches farther than you imagined. Clouds drift through the valleys below while the peaks rise upward to meet the endless blue above. In those moments, it becomes difficult to tell where the Earth ends and the sky begins.

That feeling inspired Where Earth Meets Sky.

At the heart of this one-of-a-kind pendant is a stunning landscape stone that immediately reminded me of a mountain peak rising through layers of mist and cloud. The natural patterns within the stone create the illusion of distant horizons, rolling clouds, and open skies—a view familiar to anyone who has stood on a mountain overlook and simply taken in the beauty around them.

To bring that vision to life, I hand-fabricated a silver mountain scene beneath the stone, creating a visual connection between the natural world captured within the gemstone and the mountains that inspire so much of my work. The circular opening represents both the sun and the endless cycle of journeys that lead us higher, reminding us that every summit reveals a new horizon beyond.

The handcrafted gemstone necklace features a blend of agates, onyx, hematite, and shimmering aurora glass. The soft blues echo the colors of the sky, while the darker stones provide balance and grounding. Together they create a necklace that feels both peaceful and expansive.

Like all pieces in my Mountain Series, Where Earth Meets Sky celebrates the beauty, strength, and perspective that can only be found among the mountains.

Handcrafted entirely in my West Virginia studio, this piece is truly one of a kind.
