Labradoriteis known as a stone of transformation, Labradorite is a useful companion through change, imparting strength and perseverance. It is said to balance and protects the aura, raises consciousness and to ground spiritual energies. Said to be excellent for strengthening intuition and to banish fears and insecurities. It is supposed to stimulate the imagination and calm an overactive mind, helping develop enthusiasm and new ideas.
Some use it to treat disorders of the eyes and brain, stimulate mental acuity, and to relieve anxiety and stress. Also used to regulate metabolism, balance hormones and relieves menstrual tension. Said to be good for treating colds, gout, rheumatism, lowering blood pressure, and helping to aid in digestion.
It is a stone that was originally found in Labrador Canada and is said to be the Northern Lights trapped in its stone.
