Beyond the Quiet Shore was created for someone drawn to jewelry with presence—a piece that feels discovered rather than manufactured, and one she knows she will never see coming toward her on someone else.

At its heart is an extraordinary piece of Rhodonite that looks almost like a tiny landscape painted by nature.

Look closely and you may see what I saw: dark trees and brush gathered along the edge of still water, with a soft dusty-pink sky stretching into the distance. But perhaps you'll see something entirely different. That's part of the beauty of stones like this. Nature created the picture; you get to decide what story it tells.

I built the sterling silver setting entirely by hand around that landscape, adding texture and sweeping silver details that echo the organic movement within the stone without taking attention away from it.

And this pendant needed more than an ordinary chain.

I hand-created its gemstone chain using Tiger Eye, Carnelian, Ocean Jasper, Hematite and Sardonyx, choosing the colors to continue the landscape beyond the pendant. Earthy browns, deep blacks, warm rusts and subtle flashes of light feel like stone, soil, trees and the last warmth of evening.

I named it Beyond the Quiet Shore because it feels as though we're looking across the water toward somewhere just beyond our reach—a place still enough to make us wonder what's waiting on the other side.

There is only one.

The markings within this Rhodonite can never be duplicated, and the silverwork and gemstone chain were created specifically for this stone. Beyond the Quiet Shore is an original, artist-signed Christine Keller design created for the woman who would rather collect something meaningful than simply own another piece of jewelry.
