These earrings immediately pulled me into the feeling of deep quiet water.
The rich blue-greens in this rare Blue Wood Opal reminded me of looking beneath the surface of a hidden cove where the light slowly disappears into darker waters below. There is movement in these stones… almost like underwater currents drifting through sea grass and ancient shoreline rock.
That feeling became the inspiration for Beneath Quiet Waters.
I framed these rare Blue Wood Opals in handcrafted silver with flowing textured patterns meant to represent water and gentle waves moving across the surface. The darker oxidized silver gives the glowing blues and greens even more depth, almost like sunlight filtering through the ocean itself.
