Walking through the forest, the bears roams his territory looking for his winter lodging. Each year he finds a den to snuggle up in and take his long winter's nap. This year, snacking on all the berries and plants he can find, he is about ready for his rest. As he wanders the forest he sees other woodland creatures also preparing for the days ahead. If you search, you will see a rabbit watching him diligently, as he passes by.
Set on Brass and Copper is this Lovely Swiss Opal stone that shines with flashes of light.
This pendant hangs on a 20" chunky copper Chain with a lobster claw clasp for easy closure.
This was created by hand cutting out three layers of copper and soldering them together. Each piece is a one of a kind unique creation.
Swiss Opal - is the trade name for a dark green serpentine stone with white layers of chrysotile. The name is misleading because it is not an opal and is not from Switzerland.
It is supposed to attract prosperity and enhance one's ability to accomplish their goals. The eye-catching hue of green Swiss opal is frequently seen as a symbol of life and nature, connecting the wearer to the outside world and fostering a sense of stability.
Copper and Brass- The Magic Metals
If tradition is to believed, these metals have healing properties. Copper is allegedly a strong conductor of energy, and an aid for exhaustion. This makes sense as it is used for electrical wiring. Copper is also supposed to detoxify the body, drawing the toxins from your system through the skin where the copper is worn. These therapeutic properties are evidenced by oxidation, turning your skin green when the piece is not sealed. I have been told by countless customers, that it does indeed relieve arthritis pain. Not only does Brass have the same benefits as copper, but it is also said to assist in healing the skeletal structure, and is conducive to spiritual and mental healing, self-discipline, and strength. Recently it has been discovered that most germs cannot live for more than five minutes on copper versus 72+hours on stainless steel!
