The scene was already there. Behind the opal, textured silver sweeps in curling patterns reminiscent of wind and moving water, accented by a small warm-toned stone that glows against the cooler landscape.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eBelow, individually formed lengths of silver flow freely from the pendant like streams of water. Each ends in a tiny melted silver droplet, giving the piece movement even when it is being worn.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eAnd I didn't stop designing when I reached the pendant.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eI created the gemstone chain specifically for \u003cstrong\u003eSerenity\u003c\/strong\u003e, combining substantial pieces of \u003cstrong\u003eAmazonite with Carnelian and Jasper\u003c\/strong\u003e, connecting the stones with silver. The colors continue the landscape within the Blue Wood Opal—the watery blue-green of Amazonite, the warm red of Carnelian and the earthy natural tones of Jasper.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eTurn Serenity over and there is another surprise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eThe reverse was finished as intentionally as the front, with additional textured sterling silver and a small sculptural \u003cstrong\u003eammonite\u003c\/strong\u003e tucked into the design—a private detail known mostly to the woman wearing it.
