  Rising Ember carries the energy of first light — that moment when the sun crests the horizon and everything feels possible again.

The patterned silver half-disc echoes a rising (or setting) sun, grounding the design in renewal and daily rhythm. Beneath it, glowing carnelian beads add warmth and vitality, while elongated banded red agate stones bring strength and steady balance.

Carnelian has long been associated with courage, motivation, and creative life force. It’s a stone that stirs movement and confidence. Each element is assembled by hand in my Appalachian studio. The warm reds and creams shift beautifully in the light, giving the earrings depth and natural movement. They hang at 2 ¾", long enough to frame the face while remaining graceful and wearable.
