There is a depth to genuine Lapis Lazuli that feels almost impossible to describe until you see it in person.
The rich royal blue, the flashes of gold pyrite dancing through the stone, the feeling that you are looking into something ancient and powerful rather than simply ornamental.

This extraordinary Lapis pendant features a large, richly colored stone filled with beautiful golden flecks — the natural pyrite inclusions that collectors look for in exceptional pieces of Lapis. These shimmering details give the stone movement and life, like stars scattered across a midnight sky.

Rather than overpowering the stone, I chose to cradle it in handcrafted sterling silver wirework, allowing the beauty of the Lapis to remain the true focal point. The silver flows naturally around the stone, holding it securely while still honoring its bold organic presence.

The pendant is suspended from a handcrafted sterling silver chain created link by link in my Appalachian studio. Soft accents of agate, marble, and shimmering German crystals draw the eye upward and add balance and light throughout the design.

Lapis Lazuli has been treasured since ancient times as a stone of wisdom, truth, intuition, and inner strength. Many believe it helps encourage honest communication, calm anxious thoughts, stimulate creativity, and deepen spiritual awareness. Paired with silver — long valued for its conductive and balancing qualities — this piece becomes more than adornment. It becomes wearable energy and expression.
